EXIT HANDOVER CHECKLIST (FOR DEVELOPERS)

1. ALIGN WITH BUYER
- Confirm exactly what’s included:
  - Codebase
  - Domain
  - Database
  - Social accounts
  - Docs
  - IP

2. LEGAL
- Sign LOI
- Complete due diligence
- Sign Asset Purchase Agreement (APA)

3. ESCROW
- Buyer sends funds to Escrow.com
- Do NOT transfer assets before escrow confirms funds

4. HANDOVER
- Transfer domain via registrar
- Add buyer to GitHub org or hand over repo
- Provide DB backup or migration
- Rotate and document API keys
- Transfer third-party tools (Stripe, PostHog, etc.)

5. FINAL
- Escrow releases funds
- Confirm buyer has access
- Celebrate your exit 🎉
